NedFest 2012

Continues….

Nederland, Co – NedFest is not going anywhere. Peak to Peak Music Education Association plans to carry out plans for NedFest 2012 on the original dates 8/24- 8/26, 2012.

NedFest, sadly, suffered a horrible tragedy this past year. Unfortunately, Michigan Mike, the founder of NedFest is no longer with us. In his name a non-profit organization named Peak to Peak Music Education Association (PPMEA) has been formed. All proceeds from PPMEA will either be used to propagate the festival or be donated to organizations along the Peak to Peak corridor to enhance and increase both instructional and experimental music education among children.

A preliminary line-up will be released as soon as possible. The current plan is to keep the original format.

If you were on the old email list you will start receiving updates shortly. If you would like to join the NedFest email list please email INFO@NEDFEST.COM. PPMEA is working on Facebook logistics and should have something together soon. Please keep your eye out for “friend” requests from NedFest, as PPMEA may be starting from scratch.

We also plan to have camping at Chipeta Park as we have in the past, pending Nederland town approval.

We hope to see all you Festivarians soon and definitely in Nederland on 8/24 – 8/26.
