On Friday, December 5th, at 5:30pm outside our centrally located Town Hall, Mayor Gierlach and his elf assistants will conduct the second tree lighting ceremony in over 20 years. Sponsored by the Nederland Downtown Development Authority, and with the help of some donations from Arapahoe Ranch and Indian Peaks Ace Hardware, they will be putting up a few trees with lights in public spaces. Lights will be at Town Hall, the Visitor Center, the Roundabout, and the Bridge over Middle Boulder Creek. (Even Governor Hickenlooper brought his family to Nederland last year to witness our light installation)
