Hayden Camp is a senior at Nederland Middle-Senior High School and has been part of the Nederland school community since Kindergarten. He was part of the High School Mountain Biking during the ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grades and a member of the National Honor Society as a senior.
While in school, Hayden started working at Busey Brews in the tenth grade as a host. He has also had employment as a patrol at Eldora.
Some of Hayden’s fondest memories include growing up with friends through elementary and middle school. He has also loved the “amazing teachers in Ned and being part of such a tight-knit community.”
Hayden really enjoyed social studies classes with Ms. Strong, his favorite teacher. He says she made high school far more fun for him. Hayden also confesses that he appreciates the numerous students who made high school life better for him.
“The community and being able to have such great relationships with everybody,” is what has motivated Hayden to continue attending and enjoying school. He’s passionate about skiing and anything to do with the outdoors and has also found passion in emergency medicine.
Hayden has received a Merit Scholarship from Western Colorado University in Gunnison, where he plans to go to college. He will miss his friends and many of the teachers.
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation, Hayden!
