On 11/1/21, Nederland Police assisted the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office in the town of Eldora. Nederland Police maintained the peace until deputies arrived and investigated and ultimately made an arrest.

On 11/1/21, Nederland Police responded to a report of an assault that occurred. All the involved parties left the scene prior to the arrival of the police. The incident was investigated and a report completed.

On 11/5/21, Nederland Police received a report of a hit and run accident which occurred on 11/4/21. Nederland Police investigated the accident and completed a report.

On 11/6/21, Nederland Police assisted the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office for a dog bite incident that occurred outside the town limits. The Nederland Police Department investigated and completed a report.

On 11/6/21, Nederland Police Department responded to a disturbance assisted by the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office. When they arrived, the parties were already separated. The incident was investigated and a report was completed.

On 11/11/21, Nederland Police investigated an anonymous report of a sexual assault that occurred in the Town of Nederland. Both suspect and victim identification were determined through initial investigation. The subjects knew each other. This is an ongoing investigation.

On 11/14/21, Nederland Police with the assistance of the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance. The incident was investigated, the victim declined to have the suspect charged and a report was completed.

Prior to 11/20/21, Nederland Police received a wallet and cash belonging to a resident of Boulder. An officer was able to contact the party and tell her that they had her wallet. Nederland Police emailed the party, and she provided an address. The officer was assigned to mail the wallet to her, using some of the cash to do so.

On 11/19/21, Nederland Police investigated a crash in the Town of Nederland that resulted in the arrest of a male for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and/or Drugs and Careless Driving. The vehicle was impounded by Marv’s Towing.

On 11/20/21, Nederland Police investigated a report of a theft from a business in the Town of Nederland by an employee. The employee was notified of a Trespass Affidavit and terminated. The employee paid for the item after admitting they stole it and no charges were filed.

On 11/22/21, Nederland Police were dispatched to 20 Lakeview Drive on a report of a female passed out in her vehicle. Contact was made, and she was cleared by medical. The female was ultimately arrested for DUI, receiving a summons and she was released to a sober party.

On 11/22/21, a Nederland officer was dispatched on a welfare check to Skyview Drive in unincorporated Boulder County. It was determined to be an unattended death. Scene was secured until BCSO could take over.

On 11/22/21, (Juvenile SAFE 2 TELL Report) a 15 year old female made veiled threats to school staff by posting a lip sync video of a rapper song talking about ‘shooting a bitch’. Her parents were contacted and police verified there aren’t any guns in the home. BVSD security were emailed a copy of the report and the student received a temporary suspension by the school director until a safety plan is in place.

On 11/26/21, Nederland Police assisted the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office and conducted a welfare check on a party.

On 11/20/21, a female party contacted the Nederland Police Department by email about four voicemails she received from a male party. The female made a previous report. The male party had called the female party three times on August 6, 2021, and in one voicemail he stated he would punch her in the nose and kill her. In a second voicemail, he hoped she died. The male called female again on October, 17, 2021. This case is being investigated.
