On 6/1/21, Nederland Police responded to a welfare check for a party reported to be suicidal. The officers requested the assistance of the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office. The party was deemed not to be a threat to themselves or others.
On 6/6/21, Nederland Police responded to a report of a possible DUI, where it was determined to be a medical incident and the party was later transported to the hospital.
On 6/11/21, a Nederland officer responded to New Moon Bakery and Café on a report of an intoxicated male harassing customers and causing a disturbance.
On 6/15/21, Nederland Police and several Boulder County Sheriffs were dispatched to a report of a male who allegedly shot himself. Upon arrival, officers removed a female party from the scene, to a secure location. The male suspect was taken into custody some time later and transported the unharmed party to the jail where he was charged with Prohibited use of a Weapon.
On 6/23/21, Nederland Police responded to a report of a theft. The suspect fled the area before the report came in. Nederland Police conducted an investigation and completed a report.
On 6/28/21, Nederland Police attempted to block a male suspect from entering a stolen vehicle after pumping gas. The male was able to enter the vehicle just prior to the officers’ arrival. The suspect fled east bound in Boulder Canyon. Earlier in the day, the same vehicle was located by Louisville and Boulder Police. Both attempted to stop it, however it fled at a high rate of speed. The vehicle, a 2020 Subaru Impreza, was reported stolen from the Lakewood Police Department.
On 6/31/21, a Nederland officer was dispatched to an Outside Agency Assist to help with an unknown injury motorcycle accident at mile marker 39 of Highway 72.
