On 1/9/21, Nederland Police received a referral from Adult Protective Services on a potential abuse of an at-risk adult. The reporting party was from Boulder Community Hospital. Investigation of the abuse was unfounded and the case returned back to APS for family resources.
On 2/2/21, Nederland Police located an unoccupied, crashed vehicle which they later had impounded.
On 2/3/21, Nederland Police located a vehicle accident near the intersection of Big Springs Drive and Alpine Drive. Both parties were not injured and a report was taken.
On 2/4/21, Nederland Police had received numerous complaints of a Dog at Large and had previously given warnings to the owners. After further violations, a summons was issued.
On 2/12/21, Nederland Police responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch. The driver was still in the vehicle and unharmed. The driver was arrested for DUI.
On 2/14/21, Nederland Police investigated a complaint of Criminal Mischief (domestic violence) and Felony Menacing, resulting in the arrest of a female suspect for the above-mentioned charges. The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office (BSCO) assisted with this investigation and documented their involvement under case number 21-805.
