You’re invited to a Nederland Day of Art on July 15, 2023.

What started as three separate events from the Nederland Public Art committee, Art at the Center, and the Nederland Community Presbyterian Church have combined their efforts to create a single day dedicated to celebrating local art.

To be as inclusive with this event as possible, we’ve reached out to all business owners to see if they want to participate and help showcase all of our local, talented artists. The current list of events include:

• An arts and craft fair and viewing hosted by Art at the Center

• Live demos at various art galleries around Nederland

• A mural walk with the Nederland Public Art committee, followed by a reception at Kaleidoscope Fine Arts

• An art reception at the Nederland Community Presbyterian Church, followed by a concert

• Live music around Town

• Take & Make Art Kits at the Nederland Community Library

• There will also be a silent disco the evening before, on July 14th, from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m., hosted by Igadi, Busey Brews, Kaleidoscope Kitchen, and Nederland Area Seniors

Town and Nederdays will be assisting by coordinating events, putting out signage, creating an event map to distribute, and in getting the word out.

We would love to see our community come out and support our local art scene! If you have an idea for an art-related event, let us know! There’s no cost involved with participating, the whole idea of the Nederland Day of Art is to showcase all the amazing and unique talent that Nederland has to offer. Email engagement@nederlandco.org and we’ll get it on the calendar and help promote it.

More information, including event maps and programs will be available https://nederdays.com/nedart as we get closer to July 15. We hope to see you there!
