Sara Sandstrom-Kobi, Nederland. Nederland Senior High School has recognized winter sports athletes and senior National Honor Society members. These students have worked hard for these accomplishments and the coaches and school is proud to honor them. 

National Honor Society members must maintain a very high grade point average throughout high school. 

Coaches make the decisions (sometimes difficult) of who should be given the most valuable, most improved and Panther awards. The Most Valuable award is often given to the player who consistently scores the most points or has the fastest times. The Most Improved award goes to the person who has grown the most in skill level. The Panther Award is a special award given to the athlete who is a great teammate. That person who displays great positivity and reliability. They are making the team and the school a better place.
