Human Services Fair: Join various representatives from the Peak to Peak area for assistance and information on programs like: EFAA, Veterans Project, BC AAA, and the Center for People With Disabilities. 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 196 W 1st Street, Building 2, Nederland.

Custom Collage Light Switch: Add a little pizazz to your light switch and outlet plate covers using collage, adhering and sealing techniques. Starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Nederland Community Library located at 200 Highway 72, Nederland. 

Gilpin Mountain Kids Qdoba Fundraiser: Be sure to mention the Gilpin Mountain Kids, Early Learning Center Fundraiser at Qdoba to donate 25% of proceeds to Gilpin Mountain Kids! 4 to 8 p.m., 29057 Hotel Way, Evergreen.

Nature Trivia: Mark your calendars for Golden Gate State Park nature trivia night at Very Nice Brewery on Thursday, May 28th! $1 for every pint sold will go to the Gilpin County Food Bank. Mountain Forum For Peace Yard Sale: Come shop second hand clothing, sports equipment, craft supplies, kitchenware, bikes and more while supporting the local organization Mountain Forum for Peace! 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30. Half-price from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and FREE from Noon to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 31. Takes place at the Nederland Community Center located at 750 Highway 72, Nederland.

Composting in the Mountains Workshop: Workshop includes a demonstration of worm composting, and building an outdoor compost pile to apply the composting principles discussed. Dress for the weather, compost pile building will be outside. Presented by Gilpin CSU Extension. 5 to 7 p.m. at the Exhibit Barn, 230 Norton Drive, Black Hawk. 

Schools Out for Summer: End of school year celebration hosted by Resilience1220 at Wild Game Entertainment Center for Gilpin and Clear Creek County students. 12 to 3 p.m. at 1204 Bergen Parkway, Evergreen.

Free Build! with LEGO: Drop in to create and play! Kids can let their imaginations run free while they construct their own creations using LEGO bricks. Nederland Town Clean Up Day: Drop off your trash and recycling and help keep your community clean! $20 per truck bed load of trash. 8 a.m. until the dumpsters are full at the Nederland Transfer Station, 286 Ridge Road, Nederland.
