Special events. Town staff are working with FDGD on the 2022 event and will meet weekly with the event organizers. FDGD will take place March 18 – 20, 2022.

Green Business program. The state recently released their own scorecard for a Green Business Program, so prior to rolling out ours, we are going to meet with PACE and all the other municipalities participating in the program to decide if we want to continue to use the PACE scorecard or switch to the state one. There are pros and cons of each.

Regardless though, as a county we want to ensure we are all doing the same thing. We will make that decision at the next Climate and Economy meeting (date/time TBD). Once that has been finalized, we will release the program. PACE is in agreement that we should still be able to do so by February 2022.

Trainings. I am enrolled in 28 classes with the Colorado Municipal Clerk Institute which cover a variety of topics including but not limited to liquor and marijuana laws, elections, CORA requests, and meeting procedures.
