The Nederland Public Art Committee is pleased to present our first mural to the people of Nederland and our visitors. Through funding of the Nederland Downtown Development Authority (NDDA), Nederland Publifc Art commissioned their first artist, local Greg Marquez, who created his boldly colorful mural for the children. The piece is called, “A Good Great Place.”

Marquez says, “I would like to dedicate this work to the children of the Peak to Peak region as a reminder of the wildness and beauty of the place where we live.”

It is the hope of the Nederland Public Art group that this mural will bring many years of joy and inspiration to all who experience it.

An official celebration is planned for summer and more information will be available on the Facebook pages and Town website.
