The April 2, 2024, municipal election is fast approaching, and there’s only a month and a half to get to know the seven candidates for Nederland Board of Trustees (BOT) and the two candidates for the position of Mayor of Nederland.
On Monday, March 4, 2024, the Nederland community will get their chance to ask candidates their own questions at the Meet the Candidates Forum. From 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Nederland Community Center, candidates will answer curated questions from the community, as well as whatever questions arise from an informal open Q&A session.
If you have a question, or several, that you would like to address to either the Trustee or Mayoral candidates, email them to p2pcandidatequestions@gmail.com by Thursday, February 29, 2024. Then be sure to attend the Candidates Forum and follow The Mountain-Ear to hear the candidates’ answers.
