Stand Up for Nederland: A comedy benefit for relief and recovery. Featuring three of Boulder’s own Comedy Works headliners for an unforgettable night of laughter and community support for Nederland. Featuring Vinnie Montez, John Novosad, and Nancy Norton. 7 p.m., Dairy Arts Center, 2590 Walnut Street, Boulder.

2025 Turkey Trot: 5K Walk/Run. Open to all ages and their pets. Beanies for the first 60 runners. $25 entry fee. Register in advance at Gilpincounty.colorado.gov. Check in at 9:30 a.m., race starts at 10 a.m. Gilpin County Community Center, 250 Norton Drive, Black Hawk.
Coal Creek Canyon Arts and Crafts Market: One-stop holiday shopping with 17 Fabulous vendors plus lunch by Canyon Coffee. Handmade items, art, jewelry, pottery and baked goods. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., 31528 Highway 72, Golden.
Christmas Street in the HARD District: Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, goodie bags and crafts for kids, drinks, snacks and free hot chocolate. 1 to 3 p.m., Mountain Poppy Boutique, Gregory Street, Black Hawk.

Afterschool Makers Club: Elementary age kids can catch the shuttle bus down from the school to this crafty after-school program at the library! Pickup is promptly at 5 p.m. We will meet in the community room. Sharp tools and glue guns will be used. 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Nederland Community Library, 200 Highway 72 North, Nederland.

Introduction to Birding. Interested in Nederland area birds, their migration patterns and habitats? Join us for an evening of discovery, tips and tricks and leave knowing a little more about how to spot, identify, enjoy and protect our local birds! Light refreshments will be provided. 5 to 6:30 p.m., Nederland Library Community Room, 200 Highway 72 North, Nederland.

Tommyknocker Holiday Bazaar: Starts Thursday, December 4, at 1:30 p.m., with a Children’s Parade down Main Street to the City Tree, followed by a Children’s Party at the Teller House. On Friday, starting at 6:30 p.m., enjoy a Christmas Tree lighting, carols, and candlelight walk to Teller House for potluck dinner, and Ugly Christmas Sweater contest! There will be a gift bazaar, arts, food and crafts booths, Father Christmas, cookie and a Gingerbread House Contest, a Victorian clothing contest, and more on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Teller House, located at 120 Eureka Street, Central City.

Holiday Bake Sale: Friends of the Library is holding a bake sale to raise funds for the various programs, such as the Summer Reading Program. Visit the library for a variety of homemade baked goods for sale. 12 to 3 p.m., Gilpin County Library, 15131 Highway 119, Black Hawk.

Nederland Holiday Market: Handmade goods and crafts. Music, food and art! Santa & Mrs. Claus will be visiting as well. Bring your friends, family, and holiday spirit to support local makers and kick off the season in true mountain-town style. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Nederland Community Center located at 750 Highway 72 North, Nederland.
Peak to Peak Chorale Presents: Searching for the Light: Join the Chorale as they take you on a journey through the stars to search for hope, light, and peace. This free performance is sponsored by the Friends of the Gilpin Library and is dedicated to those impacted by the Nederland fire. 3 to 4:30 p.m., Community Meeting Room, Gilpin County Library, 15131 Highway 119, Black Hawk.
