Nederdays accomplished what it set out to do - bring the community together, while spreading positivity + being friendly to all ages with friendly competitions and a variety of activities + bump visitation and revenues in the downtown businesses. Whether attendees enjoyed an outdoor dance party, live band, snowy run, sled course, magic show, ice carving, or a drink special, the amusement, smiles, and bonding were real outcomes of this new Town of Nederland event.

The collaborative effort of coordinating an inaugural event means many people and businesses leaned in to help build a foundation for many Nederdays in the future. We all learned what it takes to think fresh and put the pieces together for Nederland-led events. There is a bright future for events in Nederland and opportunities to mold what works for the greater community.
