Barbara Lawlor, Nederland. Last Thursday, October 2, the Nederland Panther cross country team competed in the League tournament at Alexander Dawson High School. The girls came in third place and the boys came in sixth.
Their success was amazing considering the girls had only three runners to place high enough to make points.
Two of the boys, James McNamara and Michael Airola came in among the top 10 runners out of 93 with 11 teams.

The three Ned girls place in the top 20 with Heritage Christian and Lyons dominating the field. There were 54 runners and 8 teams.
