Finn O’Sullivan has been interested in music for as long as she can remember. Raised in a musical family, she’s been playing guitar since she was 11 or 12 and has developed her own indie-popfolk singer-songwriter style since that time.

Her biggest musical influence is Taylor Swift. As a songwriter, Swift inspired O’Sullivan from a very young age, and Swift’s new material continues to inspire her and her songwriting sensibilities to this day.

She has released four full-length EPs, Between the Lies, Pitypartythoughts, When The Power Comes Back On, and These Days -- and many other singles, including “What Year is This?” and “Leo” (inspired by the music and plot of Twin Peaks), “Moving Sale,” “Taste,” the collection Summertime Lovers, and “Every Time” featuring Jamie Lammers.

She is currently working on self-producing her debut album and finds the challenge of writing songs based around a central theme fun and creative.

In July 2021, she was announced as the winner of “Song of The Year” for the 2020 John Lennon Songwriting Contest for her song “When The Power Comes Back On” featuring Declan Kennedy. For this achievement, she won a grand prize of $20,000 and a pack of new recording equipment and instruments.

O’Sullivan has missed performing live since COVID-19 canceled hundreds of music shows across the country, as she feels when she performs live, she is able to demonstrate the most authentic version of herself. She is incredibly excited to perform live again and hopes to continue inspiring people through the art form she loves the most: music.

Finn O’Sullivan will be performing at the Gold Hill Inn, 401 Main Street in Gold Hill, on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 7 p.m. You can stream her singles and EPs wherever you listen to music, and you can check out original music videos and live performances of her songs by searching her name on YouTube.
