With COVID numbers dissipating and music venues slowly opening back up, The United Center in Idaho Springs decided it would be a great time to bring back live music to their small venue. They will be hosting a live concert series over the course of six months.

On Saturday, April 9, 2022, Nathan McEuen will be performing with the Rough and Tumble Band starting at 7 p.m. On Saturday, May 21, The Bonnie and Taylor Simms Band will be performing at 7 p.m. On Saturday, June 11, Mollie O’Brien and Rich Moore will be performing with Eric Thorin starting at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, July 23, Chain Station will be performing starting at 7 p.m. On Sunday, September 11, there will be a special performance of women in the round featuring Regina Sayles, Rebecca Folsom, and Liz Barnez starting at 3 p.m. Finally, on Saturday, October 15, FY5 will be performing starting at 7 p.m.

Board member Dru Van Doren helped bring this event to life, and she is incredibly excited that the venue gets to perform again. She loves that the indoor venue is an intimate space where the audience gets to see the artists up close and personal, and she is equally as excited to bring more music into the town of Idaho Springs.

She hopes that the audience is able to appreciate the variety of music available during the six month period of performances and that the musicians are able to take away genuine new fans of their music. She feels there is nothing more special than a live performance of music, and she is thrilled to be able to bring people together during such a difficult time in our world.

Tickets for each event are available for sale now at unitedcenterinc.com. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door, or $200 for a special patron offer with all six performances and other special rewards included. The United Center is located at 1440 Colorado Boulevard in Idaho Springs.
