Mountain ReVerb is a group of nine members who rotate periodically every show. Tony Crank has over 30 years of professional experience playing guitar without a pick, playing with hundreds of musical artists in the country, blues, rock, and goth/metal styles of music. Having grown up on a Navajo reservation, he found himself enchanted by the traditional chants and music of the tribe. He started learning piano and trombone after becoming a part of a Mormon placement program. Eventually, he learned how to play guitar from his brother.

Carl Hager was immensely inspired by his brother, Bradford, and found himself enraptured by the acoustic talents of artists such as Cat Stevens, James Taylor, Neil Young, and Paul Simon, among others. Dan Crecco began drumming at nine years old, inspired by Gene Krupa, Mitch Mitchel, Ginger Baker, and more. “Big John” Flanigan plays djembe, congos, and bongos, and was heavily inspired by Richie Havens, Earth, Wind and Fire, and others.

Ryan Parker is a long-standing member of the Boulder-based group CROWBOY and is a blues, rock, and jazz instrumentalist with classical opera training. Ron Blechman learned the joy of improvising on the keyboard by banging on his grandparents’ piano and was inspired by Ray Manzarek, Steve Winwood, Ken Hensley, John Lord, and others. Ron Beckett began playing bass at the age of twelve and majored in music education at Northern Arizona University. Kenny Peralez picked up the guitar when he was eleven and played his first bar gig at fourteen. Finally, Otis Lande started playing piano at age seven and switched to the electric bass at thirteen.

Hager says that being surrounded by such a diverse group of talented musicians and seeing people getting up and tapping their feet to the music is a rewarding experience for him, and he hopes that people will appreciate the instrumental talent that the band has to offer.
