NEDERLAND -- Some of Bryan Bielanski’s earliest memories occurred in his crib, where he listened to the rock and roll records his parents and sister played. He’s always been in love with music because of this, and he fell in love with it completely by his teenage years.

Two albums in particular inspired Bielanski’s journey into music: The Beatles' self-titled album (commonly known as The White Album) and Nirvana’s Nevermind. The variety of The Beatles as an album and the sincerity and energy of Nevermind as an album became the foundation of Bielanski’s musical inspirations.

Bielanski started learning guitar, writing songs as soon as he could and playing in a band as a teenager. In the 2010s, he started performing and touring as a solo artist, which served as his transition from music as a hobby into music as a career.

Since 2020, Bielanski has released four solo albums, Bryan’s Super Happy Fun Time volumes one through four, and an EP, Free Bird. While he sometimes misses the camaraderie of a touring band, he better appreciates being able to pull a show together on his own, especially with the acoustic guitar style he’s adopted.

Bielanski released his debut album, Bryan’s Super Happy Fun Time!, as a contrast to his band as a teenager, a hard rock-centered group. He wanted people to invest themselves in the positive attitudes of his music, and when fans embraced his first release, he decided to keep that tone and the album name.

For Bielanski, music is an itch that won’t go away. For him, writing songs, performing, and traveling on tour gives him incredible personal fulfillment, something he realized wholeheartedly after taking a two-year hiatus from touring and performing.

Bielanski loves being able to meet new people all over the world and even see people he’s seen at shows before. He’s loved being able to travel the world, embrace other cultures, and experience incredible sights everywhere he goes.

Bielanski hopes that those who listen to his music can embrace their differences and themselves as people. He believes that everyone is generally good, and he hopes to convey that message through his music in the least pretentious way he possibly can.

Bielanski recognizes that writing and playing songs centered on subjects such as tacos, video games, and comic books might be seen more as quirky than as inspirational, but he believes that writing songs to lift people’s spirits is always impactful. While he does sprinkle more serious songs into his performances and albums, his main goal is to make people smile and laugh through his performances.
