Smooth Money Gesture is the very essence of modern American rock and roll, and they are definitely the very essence of a highly evolved mountain jam band. Since the early 2000s, this quartet has brought their music from Alaska to the east coast, and finally to permanently reside in Nederland. Each show provides an elemental array of bluegrass, funk, reggae, metal and electronica improvised into a “psychedelic creation all their own.” Smooth Money Gesture will be playing Ned’s on December 31, 2019, in Nederland, for a mountain-style New Year’s Eve celebration. Brothers Doug and Dan Dominico, alongside Scott Llewellyn and Pete Goldberg, can’t help but provide a perfectly uplifting, inspiring and high-energy evening to ring in the new year.
