On November 16, 2019, The Second Annual Best Adult Prom Ever will take place at the Caribou Room, featuring Banshee Tree. According to Westword, Kalyn Pembridge and Thomas LaFord “make a surprisingly original and enticing mix of gypsy jazz, folk pop and swing,” keeping it interesting as Ned locals enjoy the carnival and freak show throughout this unique event. Banshee Tree moved from New York to Colorado and can be found frequently playing somewhere along the front range. Their sound has also been described as “hot swing, pop folk and deep house grooves.” Wear your best Ned-style prom get-up, grab your date and come out to experience Banshee Tree’s “intrepid lyrics and compositions” for yourself!
