Steve Poltz is a Canadian born songwriter who plays a humorous and energetic down-home feeling set. With real-life, and sometimes less than ideal, circumstances as his inspiration, his songs are relatable and fun. On November 9, 2019, he will be joining forces with the highly talented all female group, The Rainbow Sisters, at The Caribou Room. Expect top-notch guitar work all around with joyous and improvisational songs that will have you laughing one minute and crying the next. Shine on in Coal Creek. A beautiful Saturday drive through Coal Creek Canyon brings you to the Last Stand Tavern, a community gathering place and filling destination spot. Every Friday, they host Karaoke Night at 6 p.m., and every Saturday, they have solo or duo music performances usually from 4 to 8 p.m. This Saturday, November 9, singer/songwriter, Richard Shine plays guitar and harmonica to back up his vocals. A regular at the Tavern, he is known for playing classic songs that gets the audience singing along and shouting out their requests. Come sit down for comfort food, drinks, and Richard’s mix of oldies with a side of blues, country and pop.
