Always rooted and honoring the greats like Armstrong, Ellington and Waller, who set the groundwork for the music, Mohney plays with his own faithful yet unique take. Old favorites are mixed with originals, taking you back to secret speakeasies while experiencing modern freedom. This band can be found playing for swing dancing events, larger venues like Ophelia’s, private parties, or weekly shows at Mercury Cafe, Arvada Tavern, and The No Name Bar, where they always leave audiences yearning for more brass, bass, and rich vocals.
