This Friday, mountain music lovers will get a lovely acoustic songwriters show happening at the Jamestown Mercantile. Laurie Dameron and Lorrie Baum are combining musical forces to provide a set of unique originals and masterful covers.
Laurie Dameron has been singing and playing guitar for nearly 5 decades. For the past 15 years she has thrilled audiences with her solo music as well as playing with her band, Laurie D and the Blues Babes. Laurie is a Billboard Magazine songwriting contest winner and three-time winner in the Colorado Music Business Association's song writing contests.
Lorrie Baum will be joining her on bass and vocals. Lorrie is also a lifelong musician and holds several degrees in her field. She has dedicated her life to playing, learning and teaching music all over the world. In addition to teaching music to kids in Colorado for over 24 years, she also toured regularly with many Colorado based bands.
