Cynthia D. Chambers , Peak to Peak.
On Saturday at the Caribou Room in Nederland, Jazz lovers can welcome the return of Garaj Mahal. The innovative fusion of funky jazz and jams is sure to be an experience for anyone who hasn't already attended one of their unforgettable shows. Returning fans can look forward to an ever evolving collective funk and groove to dance and escape to.
Garaj Mahal is made up of four first-class musicians. The band features Kai Eckhardt on bass; Eric Levy on keyboards; Sean Rickman playing drums and lead vocals; Fareed Haque on guitar and sitar. Garaj Mahal combines their own individual musical experience to create a sound that's new, infused and always smoking hot.
Joining Garaj Mahal for this most recent visit to Colorado will be Genetics, a progressive rock band ready to start the night off with an explosion of sound worthy of mountain listeners. For more information you can find them on Facebook @garajmahal or visit http://www.garajmahal.us. For ticket information visit http://www.thecaribouroom.com/calendar/2018/2/26/garaj-mahal.
