Fall Gold

The New Moon in Libra on Friday the 30th, the last day of September, brings in the golden harvest. Not only are the Sun and Moon in the sign of partnership, but Jupiter, the planet of luck joins them as well, for a fortunate harvest.

You could wander a distance to admire the golden aspens, or if you live in the high country of the Rockies, you could simply stand on your deck and be delighted by the splendor. Harvest occurs on so many levels – a renewed friendship, an increase in career success, the beauty of nature. Where are your harvests this year?

Aries- The sign opposite yours, who stimulates partnership, has a fabulous new moon this year. The yin and yang, the Sun and Moon, join together on Friday with Jupiter, adding the element of good fortune to your relationships – from work to romance, over the course of the year ahead.

Taurus- Venus, your ruler, has now moved into the sensuous sign of Scorpio, just in time to celebrate the relationship oriented new moon for Libra on Friday. Expect to see the vast majority of your connections take a gracious turn for the better over the course of the next season.

Gemini- Libra defines romance in general for all of the signs and for Gemini in particular. This week's new moon is in the sign of the scales, and so this is a fine time for you to plan a romantic vacation with your one and only, or a fun filled drive through the aspens with good friends.

Cancer- The Moon Children are enjoying Libra's new moon on Friday. Not only are the Sun and Moon next to each other, but the good luck planet Jupiter joins in. This is a fine month for people to exhibit more friendly behavior with each other, with romance highlighted as well.

Leo- Libra says that looking forward to your future is a plan for Leo. You can gain perspective during the new moon in Libra, just as though you were on top of a mountain peak, admiring all of the fall foliage in your vista. You can gain perspective and plan for the season just starting.

Virgo- The sign that follows yours, Libra, allows you to bring your ideas into focus. Now that your ruler, Mercury, is moving forward, you can advance as well. This week's new moon will unify your ideas and amplify them, as you develop a game plan for the new season starting.

Libra- Happy New Moon! Once in every year the Sun and Moon merge in your sign, and that event occurs on Friday the 30th. This year the big planet Jupiter jumps into the mix, signaling the start of a one year visit with you. With Jupiter visiting, your year ahead has luck on board.

Scorpio- Libra is always associated with romance and this time around that theme is amplified. Every twelve years, Jupiter, the good luck planet, visits a sign for a year. Look for connections, from business to romance, to become more congenial for you over the course of the year ahead.

Sagittarius- The new moon in Libra this year not only stars the Sun and Moon holding hands, but has your ruling planet, Jupiter, in this combination as well. Jupiter has just moved into the sign of romance for one year. People will become more congenial and also artistically inclined.

Capricorn- Capricorn and career are linked in the stars. The new moon in Libra this year continues this theme by placing you in the public eye during the month ahead. The current phase, which has found you to be active and in demand continues, with more congeniality.

Aquarius- The Sun in Libra brings a breath of fresh fall air to Aquarius. The moon will be in Libra for two and a half days, the Sun for one month, and Jupiter for one year. Romance and cooperation are favored for all this fall, and particularly for you, as a fellow air sign.

Pisces- This is a mystical portion of the year for you, starting with the fall equinox and the foliage display and reaching through Hallowe'en, as the nights become longer, and we start to turn within. Your ruling planet, Neptune, in your sign, amplifies your intuition during harvest.
