NEDERLAND - Nance Mathews opened her Nederland shop, Mountain Goat Tees, in order to showcase the “incredible” local products she finds, and products from tiny businesses.
She likes to emphasize the fact that her business is woman-owned and local-focused—if she cannot find a locally-produced item, she will prioritize woman-owned, LGBTQIA+, or POC owned small businesses.
Mathews features her own best sellers, one-of-a-kind handmade t-shirts, as well as handmade sterling silver jewelry, art prints, tie dye clothing, and handmade hats and bags.
