Before school started at Nederland Elementary students and parents were able to come to the school and meet their teachers. The rain brought the event inside, and as always the PTA provided snacks and welcomed everyone. The gymnasium and cafeteria bustled with excitement and noise as preschoolers through fifth graders and their families greeted each other after the summer vacation. Teachers greeted new and returning students. It was a relaxed atmosphere as the new school year begins at Nederland Elementary.
