Marchman will represent the Peak to Peak Region

Posted

Dear Editor,

We almost escaped the recent Colorado redistricting unscathed…almost! We managed to stay with Joe Neguse in US Congressional District 2 on the national front, and with Colorado State House Rep Judy Amabile as she moved to the new State House District 49.

And we were redistricted to the new Colorado State Senate District 15, with very different demographics and representation. District 15’s population is concentrated in Loveland. Our redistricted State Senator is Rob Woodward, someone who does not represent the people of the Peak-to-Peak Region and Western Boulder County. Senator Woodward represents Loveland and focuses on urban and suburban issues.

Janice Marchman is running to unseat Woodward, and she needs your vote. After an earlier career in engineering, Janice and her husband started a family and Janice has been in education as a teacher and school board member for several years. Janice is focused on wildfire protection and recovery, clean air and clean water, education, affordable housing, expanded rural broadband, as well as individual and workers rights. Janice Marchman’s hard work has helped her to better understand the needs of workers, families, students, and the people of the Peak-to-Peak Region and Western Boulder County. I met Janice on one of her visits to Nederland and she seems to be a very down-to earth person. To learn more, go to www.janiceforcolorado.com

Thank you in advance for voting for Janice Marchman for Colorado State Senate District 15 by or before this Tuesday November 8.
