Karen DeVincenzo, Eldora Mountain Resort. There was music on the mountain Saturday, March 23, 2019, when Eldora hosted Subaru Winterfest, a mountain destination tour where skiers and snowboarders came together to celebrate.



“Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real” took the outdoor stage Saturday and charmed the bundled-up crowd with their soulful country rock. Willie Nelson’s influence could be heard, threaded throughout. The cold and snow didn’t seem to faze the band as was evidenced by Lukas’s greeting to the crowd as he positioned his guitar and located a pick. “This is my favorite kind of venue to play” he said. And then proceeded to lift the revelers off their feet.
