Fran Bauer, Nederland. Lion Karen Siefert has been awarded the Anne Sullivan Award by Colorado Lions Foundation in recognition of her commitment to the Nederland Lions Club and serving the Nederland Community.

The Anne Sullivan award was created to honor people who work behind the scenes and do not expect any reward. Siefert has been a member of the Nederland Lions Club for eight years, and she received this award in honor of all her many volunteer hours in service to the Nederland Lions Club, Nederland Food Pantry, KidSight, 9Healthfair and Canyon Cares.
“Her willingness to take the lead or be of assistance in all of our Lions activities and projects is admirable and she is a true icon for Lionism,” said Fran Bauer.
The Nederland Lions Club meets on the second Friday of the month. Lions Clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs. For more information or to get involved please visit http://e-clubhouse.org/sites/nederlandco/
