LitWood & Artisan Friends

Posted

BLACK HAWK - Nestled in the historic mountain town of Black Hawk, LitWood & Artisan Friends is a place where creativity lives. Owner Jason Fletcher displays his own creations: striking fractal-burned wood pieces, featuring lightning-like patterns sealed for beauty and longevity, often enhanced with rich stains, vibrant paints, or crystal-clear epoxy.

But don’t forget the Artisan Friends—the more than 30 local artisans who also display their wares at LitWood & Artisan Friends. Many of them use reclaimed, repurposed, or eco-friendly materials to create their work in stained glass, leather, wearable art, soaps, and paintings.

Whether you’re searching for a one-of-a-kind gift, a statement piece for your home, or simply want to be surrounded by Colorado-made creativity, LitWood & Artisan Friends offers a warm welcome.

Fletcher sees the studio’s website, www.LitWoodCreations.com, still in progress, but they also have a page in Facebook. Better yet, stop in to see all the Artisans during the Studio Tour at 221 Gregory Street in Black Hawk.
