Linda was born to George Wierzbicki and Else Amor of Chicago, Illinois, on March 1, 1948. Linda moved to Nederland in 1979 with her three daughters and resided in Black Hawk the last 16 years of her life, with her second husband of 34 years, Ross Allen.
Linda passed away on February 12, 2023, at St. Anthony’s in Lakewood at 2:45 p.m. with her husband at her side. Linda died from small cell lung cancer. She was 74.
Linda was an adventurous spirit who’s kindness and generosity touched many lives. Linda partied to the “Grateful Dead” who was an icon of her time.
She is preceded in death by two of her children; Harmony Longoria and Maria Pellegrini. Linda has one remaining daughter; Jennifer Pellegrini. Surviving also is her brother George Wierzbicki and husband Ross Allen. Linda was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by many.
A memorial service will be held at the Nederland cemetery, followed by an ash ceremony at the park pavilion. The date is pending.
