Life in nature!

I would like to welcome you all to a new little segment for The Mountain-Ear as I join the volunteer crew with a small weekly addition from the life and lands of our own backyard!

Living in a slice of paradise, there is so much to appreciate and learn from. Being an avid photographer of the abundant beauty that surrounds us, I will be sharing an image each week with a little blurb. Sometimes it will be information and sharing of knowledge, sometimes simply general musings and thoughtful ramblings.

Kicking things off this week with one of our glorious sunsets captured in June of 2018 at our own little treasure, Mud Lake. The sky paintings we are gifted in this area can be some of the grandest displays seen anywhere, and this spectacular evening was no exception! I share a nature related quote to start off every weekday on my Life in Nature photography page on Facebook, and come across this one regularly as I peruse my sources.

This is a wonderful reminder, even for me, to get out there and enjoy some nature every day.

“There’s a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they’re absolutely free. Don’t miss so many of them.” ~ Jo Walton
