NEDERLAND – Laurence Delaunay Masters is a painter in mixed media, mostly acrylics and ink on large canvases. Her Nederland studio exhibits her work year round, and often includes the work of other artists.
Inspired by Impressionists like Monet, Gauguin, and Toulouse Lautrec, but also contemporary abstract artists, Delaunay portrays her vision of “this beautiful Colorado” where she lives with its amazing animals and landscapes. Using brushes, palette knives, sponges, and sometimes her hands, she creates canvases full of landscapes, flowers, birds, big animals, and others.
See her work on her website, www.LaurencedelaunayART.com, and on Instagram and Facebook @Laurence Delaunay Masters, and @Laurence Delaunay ART.
Visit her studio during the Tour at 25 East First Street, Nederland—you may even find her painting in her studio when you do.
