The Last Stand Tavern in Coal Creek Canyon was crowded with people enjoying their meals and beverages on November 26, 2021. The Tavern at 32138 Highway 72, featured a Black Friday Craft Show and Sale from noon to 5 p.m.

The show included jewelry, gemstones, paintings, ornaments, candles, soaps, watercolors, photographs, birdhouses and gifts for pets, and even a “Bring your family, friends or your pets for a holiday photo by Ridgeline Peaks Photography.”

Last Stand Owner Tom Lambeth said he and his wife, Annette, have owned the tavern for four years, and this is the fourth annual arts and crafts show. They put out flyers for vendors to sign up for the event.

Last Stand has limited space, so they accepted 10 vendors and had a waiting list. Some of the vendors come back every year.

Vendors this year included Kaylie Hall from Golden. She is a graphic designer but also does water color painting and visual strategies. She can be reached at kayliedesigns@gmail.com.

Photographer John McSweeney with “A Captured Glance” photography displayed several photographs, and also had photos and cards for sale. He has been a photographer for more than 20 years, and especially likes horses.

Silversmith Sarah Schneider specializes in stone setting, charms and whatever customers want. She started working in Silversmith in 1995. She can be reached at sarahschneider.com.

Coal Creek Resident Jan Bannister displayed fine arts and painting and can be reached at jbannisterfineart.com.

James Wedding at www.etsy.com/ shop/HalfLitWickst said it seemed a little tacky, and a little twenty-something, to just keep holding on to the empty bottles that somehow were still full of memories. Every product of his is handmade in Littleton. Candles are made from 100 percent soy wax with scented oils. For a full list of scents at any time, visit https:// tinyurl.com/HLWScents.

In addition to the Black Friday event, Lambeth said that The Tavern does a lot of outreach to the community, has fundraisers at the restaurant and participates in the annual Poker Run for the American Cancer Society. The Tavern also helps with fundraisers for the schools.

Tavern hours are Tuesday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. They feature daily specials.
