When the Kindergarteners at Nederland Elementary School heard that they would be writing a tribute to their moms and it would be going into The Mountain-Ear they were very excited. Their teacher Mary Waddell gave them the prompt. Then they all finished the sentence with their own personal experience and opinion.
The results are nothing short of adorable. The students made works of art and writing that their moms will be proud of. Kindergarten is a year of great growth in reading, letter formation and writing. This class has made great strides in those areas and their teachers are very proud of them.
On this Mother’s Day we hope these Kindergarten moms and all moms know how much you are loved.
