Join me in supporting Sandy Hollingsworth for Commissioner

Dear Editor and fellow residents,

This letter is in further support of Sandy Hollingsworth for re-election as our Gilpin County Commissioner from District 3. After the September 20 candidate forum, we know that Sandy has the right stuff to continue to represent ALL of us as one of our county commissioners.

She has been at the forefront of rebuilding our county government after the pandemic with economic planning and wise decision-making including creating a debt free economy, encouraging small businesses to flourish, supporting our county’s valued personnel, and finding time to volunteer to help non-profits succeed. People know that Sandy is sincere in her all-around involvement with the life of this county.

Commissioner Hollingsworth understands that Gilpin County is very small with limited water, land and accessibility as over 50% of our county is public lands, not open to developers. Sandy was instrumental in bringing Clinica Healthcare to Gilpin County and serves as a director on the Jefferson Center for Mental Health board along with representing the county for the opioid settlement funding distribution to address substance addiction.

Sandy Hollingsworth is our clear choice as the best person to serve Gilpin County for another four years as County Commissioner. Thank you for joining me in supporting Sandy.
