Dear Editor,
I’m writing in support of Jessica Kays for Gilpin County Commissioner District One. Voters, I think you should consider your options and the importance of the upcoming PRIMARY election June 25th. Primaries are generally low turnout affairs. If ALL the people of district one don’t exercise their right to choose June 25th, they will be left with hard choices in November! A vote for Jessica is a vote to end the current raft of bitter divisiveness in our county.
My view is that most Gilpin residents value limited government and reduced taxes. Gilpin residents favor helping others without creating reliance on government. Above all, Gilpin wants a government that functions. Our community wants our elected officials to seek ways to overcome differences.
Jessica is committed to promoting efficient government in Gilpin County. She will take a responsible approach to tax and spending policies, while recognizing the importance of listening to all sides and finding ways to work together to achieve results.
Please join me in supporting Jessica Kays for Gilpin County Commissioner district one!
Philip Kolterman, Gilpin County
