Janice Hartleb was born in Fremont, California in 1942. She married Tom in 1959 and moved to Nederland, Colorado in 1975. Janice had two children: Theresa Cronin and Don Hartleb. She had three grandchildren: Vanessa Garner, Crista Cronin and Stephanie Hartleb, and four great grandchildren: Donate Garner, Lino Barela, Bennie Barela and Lilly Barela.
Janice gave her time for 20 years as a volunteer and leader of the Nederland Fire Department Bucket Brigade. She also had a career with Boulder Valley School District as a bus aide, from which she eventually retired.
Janice had a wonderful life and just loved Nederland. She will be missed very much by all.
The family held a memorial on May 18, 2019.
