Dear Editor,

We hope the first few weeks of your new year have been filled with love, laughter, family, and joy. As we continue to hold on to these blistering cold temps here in Coal Creek Canyon. We thought what better way to warm you up than by sending greetings to our friends, neighbors to let you know what we have brewing.

If you haven’t already seen February 1 will start this year's exciting list of Canyon events that we hope to share with all of you. If you’ve got a knack for cooking, spice, and spreading a little competitiveness we would love to have you join us as we hit off our 2025 calendar year with the 26th Annual Chili Challenge hosted by United Power. 

Join 20 + locals as we turn up the heat and light your taste buds on fire. We have a lineup of challenges ranging from traditional red and green chili to a smokey Texas-style chili with no beans. And don’t forget we also have something for our vegetarians as well.

So, if we have sparked your interest and we hope we have, there is still plenty of space for more to come and enjoy. You can find the links here and on our main webpage. If you don’t feel like cooking and just feel like tasting, then we've still got you covered.
