Good evening,
Boulder County is updating their Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) and has already begun the process. Part of the process is engaging the public across the county for their input into the plan. The CWPP public survey is now available online (https:// survey123.arcgis.com/share/d5f0d3a-4879949848427f255046a9793).
The survey was developed in partnership with the City of Boulder and Mountain View Fire Protection District, who are also updating their CWPPs. The county is also partnering with the Nederland/Timberline and Coal Creek Canyon CWPP public engagement events. Input you provide will be used to inform each level (County, city and local CWPPs) of CWPP planning. Additionally, in-person CWPP community engagement open house events are being planned in eight zones (four in the west and four in the east) throughout the county for folks to come interact with experts on many wildfire topics, provide input on what you think are wildfire hazards, challenges, concerns and needs. We will follow back up once more information is available.
Thanks!
