The Peak to Peak in deep snow
The region was blanketed by several feet of snow and belted by 80 mile per hour winds that brought temperatures below zero over the holiday weekend. Snow fell continuously Saturday through Sunday, then came down hard all day on Monday. Boulder Canyon became blocked by a stuck RTD bus early in the morning, and Eldora halted any further access to the ski mountain by 9:18 a.m. except for emergency shuttles, RTD buses, and shuttles from the Justice Center.
A day off school on Tuesday meant a day of sledding for some of our area kids. It has been a few days of plowing and shoveling for others. TEENS, Inc.
