In a press conference today, the DOT announced that I-70 would be closed for a minimum of two months for resurfacing and traffic would be diverted to Boulder Canyon. “Most of the traffic will be trucks and commercial vehicles,” said a spokesman. “The cars and personal vehicles northbound will have to use a route through Ward and just merge onto the highway at the traffic circle in Nederland, which will be directed by DOT employees with anger management issues.”
