Jen and Steve Karowe, Nederland. What a Year! If there’s one thing this wild year that 2020 has taught us, it’s to count our blessings and really focus on the things that make us smile and keep us connected.
Coworking has been put to the test by this pandemic but because of you, our awesome members, we are up and running. For that and for you, we are grateful.
2020 has confirmed that we are flexible and able to roll with the punches. We have watched as you all have altered your course in order to keep moving forward. We’ve witnessed several career changes and we’ve seen those who are self-employed entrepreneurs come up with creative ways to not only survive but flourish.
We are grateful for good health and to you for keeping Hub Ned a safe space by wearing masks and social distancing. We know that’s no fun so, thank you!
We are so very grateful for our community of Nederland where we care so much about each other.
We are grateful to have been given the opportunity to slow down – to be able to see what we were missing by always being on the go.
Thank goodness for technology. The printers will always be the bane of my existence, I’m afraid, but technology has allowed us to work remotely, teach remotely, learn remotely, collaborate remotely and even celebrate remotely (happy hours, new kittens, holiday dinners, engagements, graduations, weddings, 91st birthdays!).
We have struggled, laughed, brainstormed, innovated, and basically survived this pandemic together.
We are so grateful for so much and are looking forward to 2021 and moving forward together.
