Dear Editor,
Recently the Nederland PROSAB approved renaming The South Mud Lake Open Space as the Tammy Forrest Open Space. I am incredibly honored and appreciate all of my neighbors who voted for me, however I must respectfully decline.
There are many people who have, and continue to work tirelessly for this community and while I am thrilled to be counted as one, I do not wish to be singled out.
