Greetings Readers,

How did it get to be October already? But that means it is time to start preparing for the holidays. The Gilpin Food Pantry will again be offering Thanksgiving meal boxes in November and Holiday meal boxes in December. To make donating easier for our always generous community we are having a DRIVE thru FOOD DRIVE. Bring your donations to the food pantry, 101 Norton Drive on November 11 between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., a friendly volunteer will unload your car and you will be on your way, with a smile on your face knowing you have helped to insure everybody has a terrific holiday.

Here is our wish list: Turkey breasts, roasting chickens, olives, pickles, crispy onions, dinner rolls, salad dressing, muffin mix, pancake mix, cranberries, mushroom soup, corn and green beans. Fresh potatoes and yams can be delivered during the food drive, if you would like to donate fresh produce you can drop off at the pantry between 1:30 - 3 p.m. on November 18. Questions? Call 303-912-7492 Thanks in advance for helping to make this a good holiday for all. Sincerely Roxy Goss food pantry volunteer.
