Dear Ms. Hardt,
It is with deep regret that we are allowing our subscription to The Mountain-Ear to expire. We have been property owners in the area surrounding Nederland for decades, but we have transferred our ownership to another family member. We are getting old and can no longer make trips to the area from our home in Phoenix.
We have enjoyed our long-held subscription to The Mountain-Ear while in residence there and while we are at our home here in Phoenix. The publication has never been better than it is right now and we applaud you for your expertise and professionalism in making the paper a truly home-town paper, a paper that serves the community in so many outstanding ways.
Thank you so much for your fine efforts. We wish you continued success.
Sincerely,
Conrad Egge & Bob Fernie
