Haunted Stage Stop offers scares galore

It’s that time of year once again, the time of ghosts, ghouls, and haunted mansions. Andy Reiner hopes to bring all of those together in this year’s Haunted Stage Stop event. The event, which is Reiner’s third time doing a haunted house, will (of course) take place at the Stage Stop in Rollinsville. The Stage Stop was originally built in 1868 and has since become a historic and haunted venue.

This is also Reiner’s third time hosting a haunted house event in as many years, working with his wife, Dr. Joy Adams, to turn actual haunted places into haunted attractions. The first, in 2020, was Haunted Ferncliff in Allenspark, which centered around the return of ghosts in Ferncliff. The second, in 2021, was Spookygrass at the Gold Hill Inn, which centered around a haunted bluegrass festival. The former event raised $3,000 for the Allenspark Fire Protection District.

This year’s event centers around Rollinsville creeping “back to its former glory” with ghosts and ghouls galore, and the question becomes whether you will see ghosts or whether you will be unlucky enough to become one yourself. During the event, the Gold Dirt Distillery Tasting Room, Melt Coffee, and Howlin’ Wind Brewing will be open, and a “healthy portion” of proceeds for the event will go towards supporting the Timberline Fire District.

Reiner loves being able to bring the community together through scares and ghosts, and he hopes that people that come to the event are able to connect through their shared love of all things scary.

The Haunted Stage Stop event will take place at 60 Main Street in Rollinsville. The event will take place on October 21, 22, 28, 29, and 31, 2022. Tickets are available now at www.hauntedstagestop.com.
