Dear Editor,
We are writing to express our gratitude to all of the many volunteers who have helped with the Gilpin County food pantry since the beginning of the pandemic. So many in our county have given of their time and resources to make sure that the needs of all Gilpin residents are met with dignity. Many county employees have given of their time as well throughout our hardest days.
Now that many of our volunteers have been fortunate to be able to return to work, the food pantry now needs to increase the pool of volunteers so that we can keep on sharing the load.
There are also wonderful opportunities available for volunteering at the food pantry garden.
If you are able to give of your time and join this dedicated group of volunteers, please email Roxy Goss at roxygoss25@gmail.com.
Fondly,
Rhonda Horwitz-Romano
